Children's / EducationalJulie Perry Nelson is a writer, hiker, rock climber, photographer, and nature enthusiast based in Loveland, Colorado. When she isn't writing or volunteering at her local theatre company, she is likely exploring the winding trails of the Front Range of Colorado and Rocky Mountain National Park. Her husband and two children are often her muses, much to their dismay.

About Lynette Chilcoat
FictionBorn and raised in Colorado, Lynette Chilcoat spent twenty-five years as a freelance journalist writing human-interest feature stories for local, state and national publications mostly in Colorado and New Mexico, but also throughout the United States. She is the author of the book Exploring Colorado: Adventure Like a Local. Her next chapter in life is to delve into fictional storytelling. In her debut novel, A Shade Deeper than Midnight, she's combined her love for pets and weaving supernatural elements through the tale. When not writing, she enjoys outdoor pursuits, as well as curling up on the couch to read good lit.
